Mike Campbell
Global Director, USA
About
Mike is a Global Director and vice president of 2H’s Houston office, where he is responsible for the management of the engineering group. Mike has over 22 years of experience dedicated to riser engineering, ranging from conceptual design and feasibility to detailed design, installation, monitoring and operational integrity management for all types of riser systems and subsea equipment. He has authored numerous technical publications including fatigue analysis methods and the use of field measurements to benchmark and improve design tools. Mike is a graduate of the University of Sheffield, UK, and has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics.
Yusuf Arikan
Senior Principal Engineer
About
Yusuf Arikan has over 15 years of structural engineering and project management experience in the design and analysis of various offshore structures including hydrodynamics of various floating offshore wind foundations. In recent years, he has been extensively involved in floating offshore wind projects, specifically the coupled assessment of the floater & turbine, and the design and analysis of mooring systems and power cables.
Yusuf holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bogazici University, Turkey and a Master’s degree from the University of Houston. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Independent and highly experienced verification team
Our extensive experience in design, fabrication, and installation makes us the right provider to conduct verification activities for all types of offshore systems such as SCRs, TTRs, hybrid risers, flexible risers, fixed wind piles, floating wind mooring lines and power cables, minimum facility platforms, and subsea flowlines.
We are also one of the only companies to conduct CVA activities for gas lift umbilicals.
Global verification services for offshore renewables and oil and gas
We have performed independent third-party verification of offshore structures across the globe including the US, Guyana, offshore Africa and Asia. For systems in US waters, this is carried out as a certified verification agent (CVA). Independent verification is a requirement of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) for certain offshore structures. Under 30 CFR 250.910(B)(1)(i) and (2)(i), pipelines connected to floating platforms are subject to the platform verification program as associated structures. Similarly, renewable energy and alternate uses of existing facilities in the outer continental shelf are also subject to CVA requirements per 30 CFR 585.
