Management Systems
At 2H we work in accordance with a Quality Management System (QMS) and a Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) which are common across all our offices worldwide. These systems have been developed in accordance with industry best practice and the requirements of ISO standards. This common approach ensures a consistency to our working practices worldwide and collaboration across teams wherever they may be situated. The high standards set in our QMS and HSMS meet, or exceed, individual legal requirements for each local office.
Our systems enable us to drive continuous developments to our processes. We also expect our business partners to work in accordance with comparatively high standards. This allows us to consistently, and confidently, deliver high quality products and services to our clients in a safe way whilst also adopting the highest of ethical standards during the execution of our work.
Leadership & Commitment
Our management teams have a permanent “open-door” policy which encourages active engagement with all employees to ensure that 2H can act upon valuable inputs regarding quality, health, safety, and environmental issues. The management teams are committed to a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe actions and, coupled with robust policies and codes of conduct, we strive to keep risks to levels which are as low as is reasonably possible.
Local QHSE Representatives
Each local office appoints a local representative for Quality and H&S to ensure active and reactive monitoring of the systems and processes which further enhance our ability to push ahead with improvements across the whole company. Regular engagement with the Global QHSE Manager ensures support is provided to all local offices and that best practices are adopted across the company as a whole when opportunities for improvement are identified.
Training & Competence
Induction training for all employees, coupled with regular safety and quality training sessions, ensure that all employees understand their personal responsibility to adhere to the requirements of the management systems. Training also opens up the opportunity for processes to be challenged which inherently leads to advancements over time.
Stop Work Authority
All employees understand their obligation to act if they see any unsafe activity, or even if they feel that a situation “may” be unsafe. Our Stop Work authority is open to all – and is actively encouraged.
