Our integrated project teams use the latest technologies and practices to plan and execute the safest, most effective, and economical well abandonment projects. We use a holistic risk-based approach based on comprehensive engineering assessments and extensive hand-on experience of managing the logistics and economics of well abandonment projects.
Our project teams typically comprise of skills including project management, facilities engineering, drilling, well engineering, cost modelling and planning.
In the planning phase, our structural analysis experts apply a thorough understanding of the safety philosophy on which industry design codes are based and a pragmatic approach to risk to abandonment assessments. This allows us to identify and mitigate potential concerns early to ensure plug and abandonment operations are conducted as smoothly as possible.
We have extensive practical and hands-on installation knowledge and experience in well decommissioning, including project definition, scope and objectives, environmental objectives, contracting and procurement strategies, logistics and detailed well abandonment procedures, organization and human resource plans, and QA and HSE plans.
