Based in Kuala Lumpur, Ajan is Business Development Manager for 2H’s APAC region. He joined 2H in 2023 and has a remarkable career spanning two decades in the subsea oil and gas industry.
He has played a pivotal role for several key energy service companies, growing their local presence, securing major subsea EPCI contracts, and navigating large projects with complex political and environmental challenges.
Ajan specialises in both oil and gas and renewable projects and actively contributes to the projects from conceptualisation through to the project award. He provides considerable commercial and technical insight and advice, including advocating for the first-ever floating offshore wind structure alongside a traditional monopile structure in Japan.
Ajan is an alumnus of Leeds University and holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Ajan is committed to making a positive impact through volunteer work and is also involved in various industry professional organisations, including serving as President of the Society of Underwater Technology (SUT) Malaysian Chapter from 2018 to 2021.
