About the Presenter

Yusuf Arikan is a principal engineer at 2H Offshore with over 15 years of structural engineering experience in the design and analysis of various onshore and offshore structures including hydrodynamics of various floating offshore platforms, drilling & production risers, umbilicals, and aeroelastic & hydrodynamic coupled analysis of  floating offshore wind turbines.

Gary Ross is the owner and lead engineer of Floating Energy Systems Ltd in the UK. He studied Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering and has worked on offshore pipeline construction projects and windfarm cable installation projects for over 20 years. He has spent the last 2½ years researching floating wind turbine foundation concepts with a view towards mass unit fabrication and assembly.
