2H Wins Tullow Jubilee Asset Life Extension Project
2H is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a life extension study for Tullow Ghana’s Jubilee asset, offshore Ghana.

14 Apr 2025
The Jubilee Asset Life Extension project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the longevity and performance of the Jubilee field’s subsea assets. 2H is responsible for phase one of the multi-phased project, which involves gathering data, identifying gaps, and assessing the current condition of all subsea components. The insights gained from this phase will inform and optimise further analysis and all inspections, surveys, monitoring, and maintenance in subsequent phases. This plan will provide a roadmap for ensuring the continued safe and efficient operation of these assets beyond their original design life until the end of the current production licence and covers the SURF, SPS, oil offloading system, and mooring equipment.
The project will be led by 2H’s Aberdeen office in collaboration with 2H’s Brazil team and will utilise 2H’s experienced subsea and integrity engineers, who have a proven track record in conducting life extension activities. 2H’s sister company, InterMoor, will also support this project.
Project manager, Scott Duncan, commented, “We are excited to embark on this journey with Tullow Ghana and look forward to delivering exceptional results that will contribute to the long-term success of the Jubilee field.”
2H has performed over 30 subsea life extension projects over the last ten years and has been working with Tullow Oil on various engineering scopes since 2012.
