The 2H expansion includes a new location in Ventura, California, and the addition of InterAct’s specialist energy project management, environmental, regulatory, and decommissioning engineering services. The change not only supports 2H’s growth in the offshore renewables and decarbonisation sectors on the west coast of the United States but also enables us to provide energy clients with independent end-to-end lifecycle engineering support.

The new California team comprises a range of experienced personnel from a variety of backgrounds including licensed engineers, regulatory professionals, geologists, field staff, environmental scientists, computer scientists and well engineers. This allows us to draw on a wider team of specialist, multidisciplinary engineers to deliver innovative solutions and solve complex industry challenges.

About

Ken has over 20 years of experience in the renewables, oil and gas, and environmental service industries, serving in various roles including Regional Director for the largest environmental services firm in North America and now as General Manager of 2H’s Ventura, California office. Ken works with clients and agencies in strategic planning, permit acquisition, environmental review, and development of regulatory compliance/training programs within environmentally and politically sensitive regions. He holds a BSc degree from University California, Berkeley in Environmental Science and a Masters from the University California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
