Yann Helle | Managing Director | London

Yann Helle 2H MD - Mgt TmYann was appointed managing director for 2H in 2016 and is responsible for leading and developing the business globally. He joined in 2002 after graduating from Kingston University, London, with a Masters degree in mechanical engineering, and has gained significant expertise in riser and conductor systems, minimum facility platforms, engineering and component package supply. Yann returned to London after three years in Houston as project manager of the TLP TTR delivery management project for Total’s Moho Nord field development. He has an MBA from Imperial College London and is a Chartered Engineer.

David Walters | Global Director/VP | Houston

David Walters After two years at 2H’s London office, David relocated to the US in 1998 to establish the Houston office to meet the demands of Gulf of Mexico deepwater developments. His focus since then has been the development and growth of 2H, globally as a principal director and locally in Houston, where he remains jointly responsible for the management of the office along with Mike Campbell. He has detailed knowledge of steel catenary risers having been involved in projects like Chevron Tahiti, Jack St. Malo and LLOG Delta House. David is a Chartered Marine Engineer, holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Surrey University, UK, and has over 16 years’ riser engineering experience.

Ricky Thethi | Global Director | London

Ricky is a global director and a part of the 2H Houston management team. He is responsible for globalizing 2H’s riser and subsea integrity engineering capability and business across all of its offices. One of his current focuses is digital transformation, including the use of machine learning technology to improve the speed and accuracy of structural analysis, integrity monitoring and life extension of riser systems. Ricky obtained his degree in civil engineering with first-class honours from the University of Surrey, UK and is a fellow and Chartered Marine Engineer of the IMarEST.

Mike Campbell | Global Director/VP | Houston

Mike-CampbellMike is a global director and vice president of the Houston office, where he is responsible for management of the engineering group. Mike has over 19 years’ experience dedicated to riser engineering ranging from conceptual through to detailed design, installation and operational integrity management. He has authored numerous technical publications including fatigue analysis methods and the use of field measurements to benchmark and improve design tools. Mike is a graduate of the University of Sheffield, UK, and has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics.

Frank Lim | Principal Technical Advisor | London

Frank-LimFrank’s offshore oil and gas career began in 1983 upon graduation in the UK, and has continued through numerous projects in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, West Africa and Brazil. Frank founded the 2H Kuala Lumpur regional office in 2006, in an effort to meet deepwater engineering demands in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region. As a fellow of the UK Institution of Mechanical Engineers and Royal Institution of Naval Architects, Frank is a regular author of technical papers and speaker at conferences. Formerly a global director, Frank now assumes the role of advisor to the 2H global management team and divides his time between London and Asia Pacific. He is also a professor at the China University of Petroleum in Beijing.

Alex Rimmer | Director | London

Alex-RimmerAlex is a Chartered Engineer with a first-class master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bath and has been working for 2H Offshore since 2004. Alex has gained significant experience in the design and analysis of drilling and production systems for both deepwater and shallow water developments, most notably as lead analysis engineer for BP’s Block 31 PSVM freestanding hybrid riser design project. Alex has taken on a number of managerial roles at 2H, including technical manager of the Norwich office, where he was responsible for the integration of UWG’s shallow water riser and conductor engineering team and business into 2H. He has been a director in our London office since 2011.

Ben Andrew | Director | London

Ben Andrew HeadshotBen is a director of the 2H Woking office with his main focus being the growth of the England and MENA regions. He is currently leading the deployment of new cloud-based tools and infrastructure across the 2H group. Ben has 14 years of specialist engineering experience in the design and numerical analysis of conductor-supported platforms, deepwater production (dry & wet tree) and drilling (HP & LP) riser systems. He has held project management and technical leadership roles on a variety of projects from concept through to detailed design and has been based out of London, Leiden, Houston, and Kuala Lumpur over the years.

Pete Simpson | General Manager | Rio de Janeiro

Pete-SimpsonPete is currently the general manager of 2H Offshore’s office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pete graduated with first-class honours in mechanical engineering from Cardiff University and joined 2H in 2002. After 2 years working at 2H’s office in Woking, he spent a year working as part of a 2H team within Saipem’s offices in Paris on the Kizomba B Project and then moved to Brazil in October 2005. During his time at 2H, he has developed extensive experience in freestanding riser systems in the Kizomba B project, SCRs on the P-55 FEED and also on the BSR system installed by Subsea7 in the Sapinhoá and Lula-NE fields offshore Brazil. He shares the management of the 2H office in Brazil with technical manager Roberto Alvim.

Shreenaath Natarajan | Director | Kuala Lumpur

Shreenaath-NatarajanShreenaath has been involved with numerous riser system design feasibility, detailed design and verification projects for top tensioned risers and steel catenary risers. As Technical Director of the Kuala Lumpur office, Shreenaath is responsible for the day to day operations, project management and business development for the South East Asia region. Recently, he was project manager for the freestanding hybrid riser and freestanding conductor supported platform structure off SE Asia, overseeing the detailed design and fabrication. Shreenaath holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, and has over 10 years’ experience in design analysis and engineering of deepwater riser systems.

Elizabeth Tellier | Director | Perth

LizElizabeth is the director of 2H’s Perth office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and has 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with various types of riser design, subsea structural monitoring systems and riser integrity management. In 2010 Elizabeth relocated to Perth from 2H Houston to start a local office with the goal of supporting the growing subsea market in WA. Major project involvement includes BP Riser and Flowline Integrity Management, Anadarko Caesar Tonga Freestanding Riser Pre-FEED and FEED, developing 2H Perth’s drilling riser and conductor capability and delivering various subsea structural monitoring solutions to clients in Australia.

Nick Pacewicz | General Manager | Aberdeen

Nick Pacewicz Nick is currently the director of the 2H Aberdeen office. He holds a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Nick has over 8 years of specialist engineering experience in the design and numerical analysis of shallow and deepwater riser systems, including drilling risers, jack-up systems, completion risers and conductor systems. In particular, he has notable experience of component design using 3D FE analysis, including analysis of wellhead and conductor systems to determine fatigue damage in North Sea wells.

Mélanie Bonnissel | Director | Paris

Mélanie_BonnisselMélanie is currently the director of 2H’s Paris office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from French engineering school ISITV and has 17 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry. She has previously worked for Saipem & TechnipFMC where she held several management positions. She has extensive experience with flexible pipe cross-section design & finite element analysis, including non-standard phenomena as slugs and VIV. She was involved in the major African deepwater fields developments, including Kizomba B, Akpo, Ten and Coral, and supports R&D activities for the development of new modelling methodologies & automation.
